DSAGC New Parent Meetup

This day is designed for new parents of children with Down syndrome to come together, connect, and begin building their Down syndrome community. Families will have the opportunity to meet and connect with our First Call mentors, as well as other parents who have children with Down syndrome—sharing experiences, talking through what’s going on, and getting to know one another in a supportive environment.

The DSAGC will host this gathering in a meeting space at Topgolf University and will provide light food and snacks as families connect with others in the Down syndrome community.

This event is an opportunity to begin laying the foundation for your involvement and advocacy for your child, while also learning more about the resources available in our community.

The event will take place on February 22 from 3:00–4:30 PM at Topgolf Charlotte University. The specific meeting space details will be shared with registered families prior to the event.

We look forward to meeting you and your little one! Children are welcome to attend; however, families may want to plan for some childcare support as needed if they are mobile.
