Celebrate with the Down syndrome Community at the Greater Charlotte Buddy Walk

Welcome to the DSAGC Buddy Walk 2025 Resource Fair. You have been invited to The Greater Charlotte Buddy Walk as a Resource Vendor on 10/26/25 at the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Ballpark.

To get more information about the Buddy Walk and how families/community members are getting involved, please see link: Support 2025 Greater Charlotte Buddy Walk | PledgeIt for Charities We encourage you to share the link with your network to support awareness of the Down syndrome community.

As a Resource Fair vendor, you will:
  • Attend as a non-profit organization or small business employing people with Down syndrome or other exceptional abilities. All other groups can be a vendor as a sponsor. Please see link for more information. SPONSOR 2025 Greater Charlotte Buddy Walk | PledgeIt for Charities
  • Plan to arrive no later than 11am on Saturday October 19, 2025 to set up prior to the start of the event. Teams will start arriving at 12 pm.
  • Be providing information, exhibits, skills/talent- whatever your preference- to the families and participants with Down Syndrome and other disabilities.
  • It is suggested that you have signage/banner to make it clear what organization you are representing.
  • As a reminder, that as a resource you are promoting your organization and will be providing important information as a Community Partner of the DSAGC.
  • Vendors are responsible for bringing a tent, table and chairs for your group. (Tent is not necessary as you will set up under the stadium atrium)
The resource fair set up will be within the Ballparks Concourse. At the Beginning and end of the "Walk", we ask that you all cheer on the teams as they enter through the starting line (pom poms will be provided)
Parking and event logistics will be communicated at a later date.

Como proveedor de la Feria de Recursos, usted:

  • Deberá llegar a más tardar a las 11:00 am el sábado 19 de octubre de 2025 para instalarse antes del inicio del evento. Los equipos comenzarán a llegar a las 12:00 pm.
  • Podrá ofrecer información, exhibiciones, habilidades/talentos—lo que prefiera—para las familias y participantes con síndrome de Down y otras discapacidades.
  • Se sugiere traer un letrero o pancarta que identifique claramente a la organización que representa.
  • Recuerde que, como recurso, está promoviendo su organización y compartiendo información importante como Socio Comunitario de la DSAGC.
  • Los proveedores son responsables de traer su propia carpa, mesa y sillas para su grupo. (La carpa no es necesaria ya que se instalarán bajo el atrio del estadio).
  • La feria de recursos se ubicará dentro de los pasillos del estadio. Al inicio y al final de la Caminata, les pedimos que animen a los equipos mientras cruzan la línea de salida (se proporcionarán pompones).
  • La información sobre estacionamiento y logística del evento se compartirá más adelante.
